Hello Classmates!!!
Team In Training raised 8.8 million Nationwide for the Leukemia Foundation.
We had 157 participants here in Central Florida raise $250K.
We had 11 finishers here in Lakeland!
I raised $2000 .. was not easy with all the obstacles of fund raising.
Team in Training is a wonderful organization for anyone that wants to get
in shape and prepare to run a Marathon or even a 1/2 Marathon.
I did it with 5 months of training. They have a great training program.
My time was 5 hrs and 23 minutes....started at 6 am on Jan 6th....COLD DAY....RAIN & WIND.
We had to line up at 3 AM (this waiting was the hardest part!!)
This was a really exciting event with this year being Walt Disney's 100th Birthday.
There was over 18K Runners from all over the world. Team in Training had about 800 members running.
HOPE EVERYONE IS WELL !!
